weekend(s) update

These past two weekends flew by, and things will not be slowing down around here until the holidays. Two weekends ago we had a wedding for one of Steve’s really good friends, and the whole wedding was absolutely beautiful. It seems like every weekend this Fall has been perfect – hopefully next fall will be just as beautiful!

I mentioned last week how I was trying out Rent the Runway for the first time. I was so nervous that either size wasn’t going to fit – but when I tried them on, the smaller size fit like a glove! (Surprisingly – I ate like crap that week). The necklace I rented was Kendra Scott, and I really didn’t want to send it back.

Last Friday, we met Steve’s family at Great Lakes Brewing Co. for some beverages to before our dinner at Crop to kick off Cleveland Beer Week. Saturday was spent doing a mini bar crawl, playing Keno, watching the Buckeyes and ending the night playing Cards Against Humanity and opening one of my bottles of wine from Napa.

Now as for Sunday, since the Brownies game wasn’t until later, Steve and I decided to have a day to ourselves. We decided to head down to the Flats and check out the new hotel and restaurants down there. We had lunch at Lago, and it was delicious. If you happen to go there, make sure to get the calamari and the lobster gnocchi.

Have a great week!

The calamari and lobster gnocchi look amazing! I love anything with seafood. I was thinking about using Rent the Runway for NYE but I was also worried about potential sizing issues. Glad to hear it worked out for you!
